Come and enjoy the tulips, admire the amaryllis and cruise past the crocuses at the Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse, the world’s largest flower gardens. Every year from March until the end of May, the Keukenhof Gardens will burst into a colourful scheme as the gentle rolling grounds are carpeted with blooming flowers, with this year The United Kingdom as main theme.
The Keukenhof Gardens provide visitors with a feast for the senses! As 7 million flower bulbs bloom over 32 hectares, the park awash with the sight and scent of blossoming flowers. Come and enjoy the flower shows and experience this year’s theme pavilion with its colourful flowery statues!
The main event in April is of course the well known Flower Parade on the 20th of April. Besides this wonderful event guests can also indulge themselves in the traditional Dutch culture during the Dutch Folklore Festival, with the traditional Dutch costumes, singing and dancing.
On the 27th and 28th of April guests can enjoy “Typical British” at the Keukenhof Gardens. During these days guests can enjoy the traditional British costumes, kilts, bagpipes and typical British humor!
